Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Birthday Celebrated at Siliguri’s Deshbandhupara

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 14th April, 2017: The birth anniversary of the father of Indian Constitution Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was today celebrated at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Pathagar (Library) of Siliguri’s Deshbandhupara today. Every year Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary is being celebrated from the establishment year of the library i.e. 1990.
This year is also of no exception. In this occasion, a free Health check up camp and a sit and draw competition were organized where many people from the adjoining areas of Bharatnagar and Deshbandhupara as well as the nearby areas. The chief guest on this occasion was the former MLA from Siliguri and noted social activist Dr. Rudranath Bhattacharya.
